Homeowners Robbed at Gunpoint in the Kansas City Area – June 11th, 2017

Armed men have been caught on camera robbing and assaulting homeowners at gun point in the Kansas City area.

Three things you can do to be prepared:

1. Be aware of your surroundings.  Keep your head up and eyes open when walking, talking or standing around.  If you are using one of these wonderful hand held devices, look up often and quickly scan the area around you.  If you can see a suspicious person or persons early enough, you may be able to avoid a bad situation all together.
2. Get training.  The Missouri Militia provides free firearms and hand-to-hand training throughout the year.  Learn the use of force continuum.  A firearm is not always the best or most appropriate tool for the situation.
3. Know the law.  In many cases this will enable and empower you to make good decisions when it comes to defending you and your loved ones.
