Bruce Gray

Company C 1/9 lost a valued, charter member over the weekend. Bruce Gray passed peacefully in his home Sunday afternoon, succumbing to his battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife Brenda who was at his side. Bruce was 74 years old, and a Vietnam era veteran, who suffered more than most will ever know in their lifetime. 

Bruce was always kind, and even though his body was old and worn out, he approached each training event as if he were 50 years younger, and he never quit.  He never stopped reaching up to grab the next rung on the ladder of skill sets.  He was a true inspiration for both young and old alike.  Bruce was an asset to the team, a dear friend, and will sorely be missed by all of us in C comply.
