After Action Report – 1st Bn / 3rd Bde – Training March 25th, 2017

The 1st battalion 3rd brigade in Kansas City Missouri focused on IADs (Immediate Action Drills) Saturday, March 25th, 2017.

There were 19 in attendance

Corporal Johnson taught the basics

There was a refresher on hand signals.

Then the unit practiced what they learned.

This patrol moves in a wedge formation

The unit practices using hand signals to communicate with each other

This patrol conducts a hasty ambush in response to soft contact with an unknown element

This staggered column is about to be attacked by a far ambush

The unit hits the ground in response to far ambush

The unit decides to break contact

The patrol comes under indirect fire (a simulated mortar attack)
