All training will start at 0800 sharp, everyone needs to arrive at 0730 hours to get ready unless specified otherwise.
 
Please check the site for cancellations/changes prior to training.
 
Please RSVP for each training at least a week in advance so that we can get an accurate count for meals. Bring a folding chair for yourself.
 
All new people must be dressed for the weather.  Must wear good boots that are broken in for your feet. Should bring a canteen and pistol belt or camelbak type hydration pack, head cover and gloves. Need not wear camouflage. 


 

DIRECTIONS TO MONKEY MOUNTAIN PARK: FROM KC, GO EAST ON I-70 AND TAKE THE GRAIN VALLEY EXIT. GO SOUTH (RIGHT) ON MAIN ST. (HWY AA) 1.5 MILES, THEN TURN EAST (LEFT) ONTO R.D. MIZE RD AND CONTINUE EAST FOR 1.3 MILES, ONCE OVER THE SECOND BRIDGE, TURN NORTH (LEFT) INTO MONKEY MOUNTAIN PARK.

DIRECTIONS TO BLUE/GREY COUNTY PARK: From I-70 take the Grain valley exit.  Head SOUTH on Hwy AA/Buckner Tarsney Rd. (approx. 7.5 miles).  Turn left (EAST) on Hammond Rd. and go approx. 1 mile.  Turn RIGHT on Brown Rd. and go 1/4 mile.  Turn right into Bergin Lake Picnic shelter Area.

DIRECTIONS TO ODESSA FACILITY: FROM I-70 AND 291 HWY GO EAST TO BATES CITY EXIT #31 (BLACK CAT FIREWORKS WAREHOUSE ON SOUTH SIDE OF I-70) CONTINUE EAST ON OUTER ROAD TO MCDANIEL RD, TAKE A RIGHT (SOUTH), CONTINUE SOUTH OVER THE RAILROAD TRACKS AND THROUGH THE STOP SIGN AT THE FORK IN THE ROAD. TURN LEFT (EAST) ON GOLDEN BELT ROAD, CONTINUE EAST AROUND BEND AND UP THE HILL UNTIL YOU SEE THE EARTH CONTACT HOME ON THE LEFT WITH THE AMERICAN AND MISSOURI FLAGS FLYING. TURN LEFT ON GRUBB ROAD AND CONTINUE TO END, PARK ALONG WEST FENCE KEEPING CLEAR OF THE MAILBOXES.

Directions to Higginsville Range: Take I-70 to the Higginsville exit (Highway 13) turn north and go a little over 3 miles until you reach Higginsville.  When you see the 'Subway' restaurant turn LEFT on to W 29st. this is just before the 'Sonic' on the right.  Go West approx 1/4 mile and keep LEFT at the 'Y' that goes southwest, (this road is just past the MFA fuel Depot on the RIGHT) Stay on this road 150 meters and take the 1st RIGHT onto Rocky Branch road.  Follow this gravel road  through the range's main gate approx 1 mile.  Take a LEFT turn to cross the creek and an immediate right to go to the main firing line and shooting area.
